CIOL is dedicated to driving innovation at the intersection of Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Our virtual research lab is committed to developing cutting-edge AI, machine learning, and computational solutions that optimize processes, empower decision-making, and transform industries. Our expertise in manufacturing, operations research, supply chain management, logistics, and transportation directly inform our work. We focus on developing and applying advanced computational techniques to solve complex problems across these diverse domains, ultimately aiming to enhance efficiency and drive innovation in the field.

Founders of CIOL
Computational Intelligence and Operations Lab (CIOL) is founded by MD Shafiqul Islam and Azmine Toushik Wasi. We are collaborating with our faculties, department seniors and other collaborators, who are pursuing higher studies in Machine Learning at different universities worldwide and working in top industries, to ensure that the lab is well-equipped with the necessary resources and expertise. It is not an officially registered organization yet.
